A different online experience for student recruitment
Project type
Microsite design for SUTD’s 2020 Open House Student Recruitment, completed during my time at Mullenlowe Singapore
Completed late 2019
My role
Collaborating closely with the Associate Creative Director (ACD), Digital Designers, and Tech team, I was the lead UI and UX designer responsible for creating a gamified quiz microsite, and its user flow, from design concept with our ACD, to delivery with our Tech team
Tools
Sketch, Invision
The larger project scope
This microsite is part of a larger 360 campaign for SUTD’s 2020 Open House, an annual student recruitment drive
The brief
As part of the larger SUTD 2020 Open House Student Recruitment Drive, the task was to design a gamified quiz (titled ‘DEDA’) that
is relatable to potential undergraduate students (majority of which are fans of video games)
entices students to visit the Open House
informs students of the potential undergraduate programme that they may be more inclined to
promotes SUTD as a Design school (as opposed to the common impression that SUTD is an engineering school)
Prior to me joining the team, the concept of DEDA as a gamified quiz has already been sold to the client. This is where DEDA will sit within the larger 360 campaign:
My role specifically was to solve the user journey within DEDA, i.e. from the moment the user enters the website, how they work through the quiz, and finally to the various exit points they will exit from.
Mapping the user flow
From pen and paper, to wireframes, to high-fidelity prototype
