Creating a B2B video content library

Project type

Website design for BBC, completed during my time at Mullenlowe Singapore

Completed late 2019

Tools

Sketch, Invision

My role

Collaborating closely with the Associate Creative Director (ACD), UX Designer, and Tech team, I was the lead UI designer responsible for creating the high-fidelity prototype, and its user flow, from design concept with our ACD, to delivery with our Tech team

The brief

To create a centralised video content platform for

  1. BBC sales representatives to use as sales pitch demo and preview

  2. and for BBC’s potential clients to use as stock library for browsing

The solution

We created 2 separate login user flows with slight variations — one for BBC’s sales rep that gives them access to more controls, and one for regular users with limited access

Key Feature

As the library is intended for B2B usage, the buying of video footages does not happen on the website. Instead we have a shortlisting feature that is frequently used (by both Sales Reps and Regular Users) to mutually share curated lists for quotation.

The main difference in feature between Sales Rep and Regular User is that a Sales Rep account can create and save multiple shortlists, while a regular user account can only make one list.
